Veterans of Tomorrow Program Visits Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases
Led by Board of Advisors member Lieutenant General Stephen G. Wood, USAF (ret.), a delegation from the Military and Veterans Appreciation Trust Foundation (MVAT) spent December 5-6, 2018 at the U.S. Air Force’s Nellis Air Force Base, located in North Las Vegas, Nevada and at Creech Air Force Base, located at Indian Springs, Nevada.
Heroes Linked Shows Robust Growth
The Heroes Linked program has shown impressive growth since the live beta version of the web application was launched at the beginning of 2018.
New High-Tech GI Bill Program Coming Soon
A new pilot program from the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to assist student veterans enroll in non-traditional programs that teach high-tech skills. Called the Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) program, it was first announced on Feb. 13 on the GI Bill website.
