GOLD STAR RISING

Lifting up the children and siblings of fallen heroes.

Heroes Linked’s Gold Star Rising program empowers Gold Star teens and young adultsβ€”the children and siblings of U.S. military service members lost in the line of dutyβ€”from age 13 through their college years. Through arts enrichment and educational support, Gold Star Rising fosters healing, confidence, self-expression, and the practical resources to pursue what comes next.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Where Healing Meets Creative Expression

The Challenge

Gold Star teens and young adults carry profound loss into the years when peers are discovering who they are, building identity, and choosing their future. They need supportive spaces to create, express, and grow alongside others who understand.

The Solution

Gold Star Rising offers arts enrichment workshops alongside educational support. Through filmmaking, theatre, and creative writing, participants build resilience, confidence, leadership, and self-expression while connecting with peers who understand their journey.

Honor the legacy of a fallen hero.

Help the children of those who gave their lives protecting us afford the cost of higher education.
